Lidia Pamies

Ever since Lidia can remember, she has always been exposed to Chinese Medicine. Her mother would always use Chinese herbs over Western medicine to treat common ailments such as colds. Prior to Lidia pursuing a career in Holistic medicine, she was studying Psychology and Health Science at Simon Fraser University. Over the duration of her course, she started to suffer from back pain attributed to long periods of sitting and being idle. She began seeing an Acupuncturist and within a few treatments, the back pain started to subside. Inspired by the healing abilities of Acupuncture and recalling the impact of her mother’s herbs, she decided to start delving into Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Lidia graduated from PCU College of Holistic Medicine where she obtained her diploma in Acupuncture. After graduation, she traveled to Tianjin, China, to intern at the Tianjin Medical University General Hospital. While in China, she studied under the hospital’s head doctor furthering her knowledge of TCM.

Lidia has a special interest in facial rejuvenation, microneedling, pain management, stress, gynecological conditions, and Traditional Chinese Medicine Food Therapy (Shi Liao).

When she is not busy helping others in the clinic, you might find her thrifting, weight lifting, or curling up with her cat while watching movies.

Lidia also speaks fluent Mandarin, Spanish and Catalan.

Agni Larsen

Dr. Larsen completed her 5-year Doctorate of Traditional Chinese Medicine with great distinction at Pacific Rim College in 2017. Dr. Agni believes acupuncture and Chinese Medicine add value to society by addressing growing healthcare needs and offering an effective integrative approach to health.

She focuses her practice on mental and emotional health; addictions; insomnia; digestive health, reproductive health and pain modulation. She has taken several advanced trainings in dermatology and holistic skincare treating acne, hyperpigmentation, rosacea, scars with microneedling, facial acupuncture therapies such as facial cupping, guasha, abdominal, thigh and glute sculpting and cellulite reduction. Her goal is to provide a safe, inclusive space where health care needs are listened to and to create a personalized treatment plan to help patients reach their health goals.

She grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and had her first acupuncture treatment at six years of age. Her British mother worked for a Chinese Medicine doctor and made black chicken cooked with goji berries and other classic Chinese herbal decoctions. Chinese heritage on her Dad’s side led Agni towards an interest in reclaiming ancestral knowledge and she spent her twenties living abroad in Shanghai, Malaysia, Nepal, India and Israel teaching yoga and English and doing a deep dive into meditation and languages. Dr. Agni holds a B.A. in Buddhist Studies and Himalayan Language from Rangjung Yeshe Institute, Kathmandu University, where she completed a 4-year program studying Tibetan Buddhism and Tibetan, Nepali and Sanskrit languages in 2011.

Dr. Agni has a special interest in outreach acupuncture and returned to Nepal in May 2022 as team lead for the Acupuncture Relief Project, a non-profit organization that provides free medical support to those affected by poverty, conflict and disaster.

Outside the clinic, you can find her practicing qìgōng, running the seawall or curling up with a mug of tea and a sci-fi novel.

Osteopathic Practitioner

Martina Bagnoli

Martina Bagnoli comes from Italy and she completed her Bachelor of Science in Osteopathy at Italian Accademy of Osteopathic Medicine (AIMO) and British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) in 2016. She’s been part of the teaching body for articulatory techniques subject and as a thesis supervisor at AIMO.

Martina learned about osteopathy when she was a water skier athlete in Italy. She was constantly in contact with different therapists and, while they were explaining to her why she felt pain, she became passionate about the anatomy and the healing processes.

Martina’s approach sees the person as a whole unit in which mind and body are strictly connected. She likes to understand where the pain is coming from by analyzing the body, the movement and the personal lifestyle.

She believes that the patient and the therapist should work together to find the best treatment because each of us is different and has different needs.

Martina uses different types of manual techniques to help with different kinds of disorders such as muscle/articulation pain, chronic pain, stress, temporomandibular (TMD) and postural disorders, headaches, digestive or other visceral disorders.

Over the years Martina realized how much chronic pain is difficult to get rid of and how much this kind of pain interferes with the personal life and this is why she specialized in chronic pain management.

Martina loves to work with adults, kids, pregnant women and athletes.

When she’s not working, she loves to walk in nature, hike and do yoga.
